Life casting

For Hey, Henry! we need a model for all of the zombie makeup so today we went back  to Anatomy FX lab in Jersey to get a cast of Dan Bradley.

Perfect day with Tony Mandile in his lab. This guy is ridiculously amazing.

The whole process took about an hour from alginate to plaster to final cast in clay. Tony is now working on cleaning up the clay positive (below) to make a final cast in silicone which will be the head form to sculpt all of of the prosthetic pieces on.

Amazing. Kudos to Dan for sitting still for as long as he did. It's a tough and lonely process which will yield some horrifying zombie makeup.

Yeeehaw!

Fixing the pesky ears. This is a clay positive of Dan's head. After this, we get to see a silicone positive. Looking forward to see what Tony has in mind! Kaboom!
