Thank you all for visiting the wedding page! Here you will see event details, timeline, and ins and outs of island living. Here's what's happening.
FRIDAY, AUGUST 18
12PM: A small, family-only ceremony will take place on the front steps of the cottage. We say family-only but anyone who would like to attend is welcome.
After the ceremony, we will be enjoying a relaxing day as the majority of guests arrive. A light buffet lunch will be served. Swimming, sunning, and exploring the 1000 Islands will be happening all weekend long so bring your swim suits, towels, and sunscreen. Water shoes are suggested as some of the rocks are slippery and sharp.
Cocktails will be made available as a casual serve-yourself dinner will be provided.
SATURDAY, AUGUST 19
Breakfast will be made available from 9a.m.-11a.m as everyone wakes up for another day of swimming, sunning, and exploring.
Lunch will be put out sometime around 12, so food will be available for the majority of the day.
Saturday evening will be the formal reception. A buffet style dinner will be catered, followed by dessert. (Sorry, no cake!)
SUNDAY, AUGUST 20
Brunch will be available from 9a.m.-12p.m. as we say goodbye to all guests and enjoy one last morning on the island.
HOW TO RSVP
Because it is an entire weekend and everyone is welcome to join us at anytime on any day, we are asking everyone to RSVP with what meals they will be present for so we can make sure to have enough food available.
It will also be helpful to know a rough estimate of the time of day you will be arriving on either Friday or Saturday so that we can schedule water taxis to bring you to the island.
Because so much more planning will happen once we have a clear idea of when you will arrive and how many days you will be with us, it is imperative that all RSVP's are received no later than June 12, 2017.
Rsvp's can be sent via email to jmeashs@gmail.com
LODGING OPTIONS
We will be providing two house boats for some of the guests who would like to use them as sleeping quarters. If this is something you are interested in, the cost is $110 USD per person for the weekend. Space is limited so please let us know as ASAP as possible. These will be available on a first come, first serve basis, so don't delay!
There are also hotels available in the town of Gananoque for those that don't want to stay on the island or are too late to get a place on the houseboats.
